Registration expires on June 30 of each year.

To renew your registration:

1. Complete the Renewal Form
2. Complete CFE Activity Report
3. If you are a Consulting Forester complete Affidavit Form
4. Remit the annual renewal fee of $40.00 (forty dollars).
5. The Board must receive your registration renewal NO LATER THAN JUNE 30 of each year. Failure to submit your renewal form will result in the suspension of your registration.

Guidelines for Granting Waivers for Renewal Fees - Approved 12/13/2011

The NC Board of Registration for Foresters has the authority, under NC Administrative Code, to waive registration fees in certain circumstances.

The Board shall waive the annual forty dollar [$40.00] renewal fee for military deployment, extended illness, or other similar circumstances based upon a written petition from the Registered Forester [RF] or the Registered Forester's agent [21 NCAC 20 .0106]. All requests must be in writing. The petition should be addressed to the Board and describe in detail the reason for requesting a waiver. When reviewing requests not related to military deployment or extended illness, the Board will base its decision on the RF's ability to pay the fee.
